About My Work
I take my inspiration from the beauty of my local area, particularly Dartmoor and our stunning coastline. I love creating colourful, textured semi abstract landscapes and hope you like them too.
Original Artworks and Prints
A lot of my work is from my imagination, but I also do more representational work (from photos) of specific areas. As I have a love of wildflowers, they often feature in the foreground of my paintings.
I mainly work with acrylics as I like the versatility of them, or water mixable oil paints as I like the way they blend. I paint on either wooden cradles or canvases and all of my paintings come ready to hang. Some have been framed and others have had the sides painted, so don't need to be framed (but still can be if you wanted).
My original artworks are very affordable, starting at just £50. I also offer mounted prints, starting at just £15. Blank greeting cards are also available at £3.00 each. Take a look at my Shop Page for further details.
Cyanotype
Recently, I have also been learning about the Cyanotype process, which has been really enjoyable. Read more about the cyanotype process. Greeting Cards
I also sell a lot of my artwork and cyanotypes as printed greeting cards. All printed on sustainable card, and provided with an envelope and a compostable clear sleeve, they are priced at £3.00 each or four for £10.00. Please visit My Shop for my current cards
Jewellery
Finally, I also have necklaces which I make myself using original mini cyanotypes or sections from prints of my artwork.
I cut the image to size and then use specialist adhesive to stick the image into the metal tray, and add the glass cabochon. They are just £10 for the square pendants and £12 for the rectangle pendants. These make lovely gifts or an affordable treat for yourself!
